Swag Bag Feature with Paper Issues: Medieval Birthday (Doodlebug Design Dragon Tails)

It's time for Paper Issues July Swag Bag Feature! This month I used the June Swag Bag (see below).

What is a Swag Bag? It's a fun monthly kit that comes with a little of this and a little of that (each one is slightly different). It's filled with 3x4 papers so you can try out various collections along with a selection of awesome embellishments. It's a whole lot of fun for $9.99 (although you can get it for 20% off when you use the code LISA20) plus there's the option to subscribe for six months (always a great gift idea).

The June Swag Bag, That Kid is a Star, is shown below:

The July Swag Bag, Fruit Cup, was just released so be sure to grab one real quick (see below). In the meantime, you can check out what my fellow design team members made for this feature (and see which Swag Bag they worked with), right here. :)

Add it Up with Paper Issues: The Daily Grind (Fancy Pants Family & Co.)

Hi everyone! It's time for the July Add It Up challenge at Paper Issues. The math is super easy, so don't worry. LOL!

There's a chart (see below) of items you can use on your project. Each item has its own point value. If you use multiples of an item, then you can add in even more points! For example, if you use two (2) photos, you'd get 10 points. If you used five (5) patterned papers, you'd get 25 points. Every month your completed project has to reach a certain point value. This month, you have to get at least 40 points worth of stickers. I actually managed to get to 44.

Here's the chart and point values:

Now it's your turn to give it a try! Link your finished project to the Add It Up album in the Paper Issues {Friends & Fans} Facebook group by August 1st to be in the running for a gift certificate to the Paper Issues store.

Pinspire Me with Paper Issues: Birthday Love (Echo Park Summer Dreams)

It's time for July's Pinspire Me challenge at Paper Issues. I created this adorable birthday card with Echo Park's new Summer Dreams and items from my stash.

Here's a look at this month's mood board. So many possibilities...I was inspired by the kite shape and colors. I also took inspiration from the top left photo, by adding dimension.

Create something based on this piece and post it in the Pinspire Me album in the Paper Issues {Friends & Fans} Facebook group by August 1st for a chance to win a gift certificate to the Paper Issues store. If you share your project on Instagram, be sure to use #paperissuespinspireme so we can leave you some love. :)

Pawsitively Pets with Paper Issues: Just One of the Guys

This month's Pawsitively Pets challenge is to share a layout about your pet being naughty. Butterscotch tends to get up on the furniture even though he knows he's not supposed to. Of course he has to act all cute and pretend he did nothing wrong. LOL!

So now it's your turn to share! Add your project to the Pawsitively Pets album in the Paper Issues {Friends & Fans} group by August 1st for a chance to win a gift certificate to the Paper Issues store.

Take 5 with Paper Issues: Mermaid Hair (Pink Paislee Summer Lights)

Happy 4th of July! It's time for the July Take 5 challenge at Paper Issues. I love this challenge and look forward to it every month! You can play along too for a chance to win a gift certificate to the
Paper Issues store.

Here's how it works...each month there's a list of items to use as inspiration. Pick 5 of the items from the list and create a paper project (card, layout, off the page, pocket page, etc.) You can add other items, but you must use at least 5 items from the list.

Link your finished project to the Take 5 Challenge album in the Paper Issues {Friends & Fans} Facebook group by August 1st.

In case you're wondering, I used more than five this month (and that's okay): #1 orange, #2 purple, #3 pink, #4 sticker, #8 layers, #10 patterned paper and #11 enamel dots.
