Did you know that Paper Issues offers FREE cut files? Even if you don't have a Silhouette, you'll find directions on the blog to help you convert the files.

For this month's challenge, Summer Vibes, I used the Monarch Butterfly Wreath cut file along with Simple Stories new Hello Lovely collection.

Share your project(s) using any of Paper Issues' summer-themed cut files or cut file that coordinates with your summer design, then link your finished project to the Free File Friday album in the Paper Issues {Friends & Fans} Facebook group by July 2nd for a chance to win a gift certificate to the Paper Issues store.

Swag Bag Feature with Paper Issues: Celebrate Today

It's time for Paper Issues June Swag Bag Feature! I keep all of my Swag Bag items in a cute little pouch, so I went through to see what I could find. I don't remember which month these items are from. Sorry about that!

What is a Swag Bag? It's a fun monthly kit that comes with a little of this and a little of that (each one is slightly different). It's filled with 3x4 papers so you can try out various collections along with a selection of awesome embellishments. It's a whole lot of fun for $9.99 (although you can get it for 20% off when you use the code LISA20) plus there's an option to subscribe for six months.

The June Swag Bag, That Kid is a Star, has just been released. Be sure to check the store and grab one for yourself. They sell like hot cakes. Plus, you can use the code LISA20 and save 20% on your entire order.

Check out what my fellow design team members made for this feature, right here. :)

Add it Up with Paper Issues: Pretty Girl (Crate Paper Little You Girl)

Hi everyone! Time for June's Add It Up challenge at Paper Issues. The math is super easy, so don't worry. LOL!

The chart belows shows the items you can use on your project. Each item has its own point value. If you use multiples of an item, then you can add in even more points! For example, if you use two (2) photos, you'd get 10 points. If you used five (5) patterned papers, you'd get 25 points. Every month your completed project has to reach a certain point value. This month, you have to get 40-60 points. I reached 50.

Here's the chart and point values:

Now it's your turn to give it a try! Link your finished project to the Add It Up album in the Paper Issues {Friends & Fans} Facebook group by July 2nd to be in the running for a gift certificate to the Paper Issues store.

Try it Tuesday with Paper Issues: Life is a Party (Fancy Pants Joy Parade)

I had fun playing along with Amanda's Try it Tuesday challenge at Paper Issues.

This month's task is to use fabrics and/or textiles on your project. Ideas include using lace, ribbon, fabric squares, pom poms, bows, thread, hand/machine stitching and more!

I tied ribbon into a bow and added it to my card. It was the perfect finishing touch. :)

You can play along too! Add your project to the Try it Tuesday album in the Paper Issues {Friends & Fans} group by July 2nd for a chance to win a gift certificate to the Paper Issues store.

Pinspire Me with Paper Issues: You're So Cool (Echo Park Summer Dreams)

It's time for the June Pinspire Me challenge at Paper Issues. I created this refreshing, summery card with Echo Park's new Summer Dreams collection.

Here's a look at this month's mood board. It's a fun one, isn't it? I was inspired by the popsicle float.

Create something based on this piece and post it in the Pinspire Me album in the Paper Issues {Friends & Fans} Facebook group by July 2nd for a chance to win a gift certificate to the Paper Issues store. If you share your project on Instagram, be sure to use #paperissuespinspireme so we can leave you some love. :)

Take 5 with Paper Issues: Pirate Captain (Bella Blvd. Secrets of the Sea Boy)

It's time for June's Take 5 challenge at Paper Issues. This is such a fun challenge! You can play along too for a chance to win a gift certificate to the
Paper Issues store.

Here's how it works...each month there's a list of items to use as inspiration. Pick 5 of the items from the list and create a paper project (card, layout, off the page, pocket page, etc.) You can add other items, but you must use at least 5 items from the list.

Link your finished project to the Take 5 Challenge album in the Paper Issues {Friends & Fans} Facebook group by July 2nd.

In case you're wondering, I used more than five this month (and that's okay): #1 red, #2 blue, #3 green, #9 stripes, #11 patterned paper, #12 die cut and #14 circle.

Notable Quotable with Paper Issues: Purrfect Birthday

June's Notable Quotable challenge is now live at Paper Issues. Each month we work with a different quote and make a project based on it, whether it's inspired by the whole quote, just a word, the design, the colors, etc.

Here is this month's inspiration
piece:

You can play along too! Link your finished project to the Notable Quotable Challenge album in the Paper Issues {Friends & Fans} Facebook group by July 2nd to be in the running for a gift certificate to the Paper Issues store.

In case you're wondering how I was inspired, I went with the classic black and white, adding in a bit of pink.

Working Title with Paper Issues: Currently (Bella Blvd. Valentina)

Here's my project for June's Working Title challenge at
Paper Issues

This month's challenge is called "One Little Working Title". Use one word for your title and keep it to a small font size. I went with the word "currently". I journaled about Alexa turning 16 and all she has to look forward to this summer.
