Happy Monday! Alexa's school picture was taken on the second day of school. Crazy, right? Anyway, of course I had to scrap it. I used so many odds and ends and mixed manufacturers like crazy.

What I really can't believe is that my baby is a sophomore in high school! It feels like just yesterday she was starting preschool. Time flies!

Need a Lift? (We R Memory Keepers High Five)

Last week I shared a masculine birthday card made for a We R Memory Keepers High Five product spotlight at Paper Issues. Today I have a layout to show you that's fun and whimsical and shows the more feminine side of the collection.
The photo is from Alexa's early summer trip to Tucson to see her best friend. They rode the ski lift up Mt. Lemmon (north of Tucson), taking video along the way and then enjoying one of the famous dessert plate sized cookies from the Mt. Lemmon Cookie Shop before heading back down.

Swag Bag Feature with Paper Issues: Hello Fall (Simple Stories Hello Fall)

Hi everyone and happy Monday! Today I'm sharing a Thanksgiving card made with the October Swag Bag from Paper Issues.

What is a Swag Bag you ask? It's a fun monthly kit that comes with a little of this and a little of that. It gives you a chance to try out collections you may be unsure of. It comes with a selection of embellishments too. It's a whole lot of fun for $9.99 (although you can get it for $7.99 if you use the code LISA20 when you place an order). I know I look forward to that shiny glassine bag full of happiness. :)

Check out what my fellow design team members made with the current and previous Swag Bags. You'll find that post right here. :)

Card Share: Come On Get Happy (Echo Park Party Time)

Continuing on with sharing age specific birthday cards made with Echo Park Party Time, today I have a 5th birthday card to show you.

I used a number of stickers on this card, layering a banner over a trio of candles. I used foam adhesive to pop the "5" off of the card to add dimension.

Pinspire Me with Paper Issues: Days of Spooks (Echo Park Arsenic & Lace)

I'm playing along with the October Pinspire Me challenge at Paper Issues. Here's a look at the inspiration piece. I love the mix of spooky and rustic elements and the whole Halloween vibe.

My card was inspired by the skeleton, spider web and bat.

Create something based on this piece and post it in the Pinspire Me album in the Paper Issues {Friends & Fans} Facebook group by November 5th for a chance to win a gift certificate to the Paper Issues store. If you share your project on Instagram, be sure to hashtag it #paperissuespinspireme so we can leave you some love. :)

Take 5 with Paper Issues: Give Happy Thanks (Echo Park Fall is in the Air)

It's time for the October Take 5 challenge at Paper Issues. Here's how it works...each month there's a list of items to use as inspiration. Pick 5 of the items from the list and create a paper crafting project (card, layout, off the page, pocket page, etc.) You can add other items and use your own ideas, but you must use at least 5 items from the list.

Here's the list for this month

Link your finished project to the Take 5 Challenge album in the Paper Issues {Friends & Fans} Facebook group by November 5th to be in the running for a gift certificate to the Paper Issues store.

I love this challenge so much and look forward to it every month. In case you're wondering, I used
 #1 orange, #2 green, #3 white, #4 layers and #9 pumpkin(s). You'll also find leaves (#11) in the mix too. :)
