Card Share: Forever (Dear Lizzy Documentary)

Today we're featuring Dear Lizzy Documentary on the Paper Issues blog. This is such a pretty collection! The mint green, salmon and fuschia drew me in (as you can probably tell from the card I made). Pop on over to the Paper Issues blog for more inspiration and to see what my fellow design team members created with this beautiful collection.

If you love what you see, and you absolutely HAVE to have this collection, you can use the code LISA20 to get 20% off of your order from the Paper Issues store.

Card Share: You're the Apple of My Eye

Round 2 of Paper Issues' How 'bout Them Apples linky party started today. Link your projects having to do with fall, apples, fall colors, etc. for a chance to win a $20 gift certificate to the Paper Issues store. You'll find all of the details on the Paper Issues blog today.

Here in upstate NY, fall is officially upon us and so is apple picking season. I see a lot of baking in my future — apple crisp, applesauce, muffins and more.

Do you have a favorite apple recipe? Please share if you have a link. Thank you!

Card Share: A Great Teacher (Echo Park Teacher's Pet)

Today I'm sharing a very simple teacher thank you card. This came together quickly using just two patterned papers and a 3x4 card from Echo Park Teacher's Pet. I love the cozy plaid paired with the stars and the overall color scheme.

Card Share: #Cool (Simple Stories So Rad)

At first I was thinking this would be a music lover's birthday card for a tween/teen boy, but then I realized it would also make a great card for a music teacher. Once again I put Simple Stories So Rad to use. This is such a versatile collection, full of embellishments for sports lovers, skateboarders, music lovers, gamers and more.

Card Share: Let's Hit the Road (Echo Park Teacher's Pet)

This card is dedicated to all of the hard-working bus drivers who get our kids back and forth to school safely each and every day. I used Echo Park Teacher's Pet because I couldn't resist the cute school bus paper. Add in an alarm clock to show what time the bus arrives (or because kids have to be at the bus stop on time), a "B" for bus driver and an epoxy sticker that says, "Let's hit the road" and I'd say we're ready to get to school.

Card Share: Stay Curious (Crate Paper Wonder)

I am in love with Crate Paper Wonder. I've used it on layouts about dance and Alexa's cat, plus I've made a number of cards with the collection. In this case, it was perfect for a first birthday card, complete with a tag that says, "stay curious". The sweet animals are hard to resist.

Card Share: Cool Dude (Simple Stories So Rad)

Simple Stories So Rad collection contains a number of sports-themed embellishments. A chipboard high top sneaker, baseball die cut and some other chipboard pieces turned into a birthday card for a boy who plays baseball (or loves the sport). It could even be given as a thank you card to a baseball coach (because they're cool dudes too, you know). :)

How 'bout Them Apples? with Paper Issues: Apple for the Teacher (Echo Park Teacher's Pet)

A new linky party started at Paper Issues today (and it's going to run for a whole month which gives you plenty of time to join in). This one's called How 'bout Them Apples

I made this teacher thank you card, complete with an apple for the teacher (at least in sticker form), with Echo Park's Teacher's Pet collection.

Speaking of apples, we have plenty of varieties to choose from here in upstate NY. What's your favorite? I'm partial to Honeycrisp and Macoun.

Add your projects (new or old, as many as you'd like) to the gallery on the Paper Issues blog. Be sure to link back to Paper Issues for a chance to win a $20 gift certificate to the Paper Issues store. If you have any questions about how to link up, I'd be happy to help. :)

Card Share: Wonderful You (Elle's Studio Cienna)

I'm loving this Elle's Studio Cienna patchwork paper as a background for baby cards. It makes me think of snuggling a sleeping baby while sitting in a comfy chair (preferably a rocking chair). :)

Card Share: Beautiful Sister (Chickaniddy 365)

Ten year old girls will appreciate getting this pretty, floral, feminine card from a sibling, right? At least a girly girl would (and those who are girly at heart). I definitely went big on all of the above on this birthday card made with Chickaniddy 365 and some odds and ends from my stash.

Card Share: Things We Do (Echo Park Teacher's Pet)

I'm back today to share another teacher thank you card made with Echo Park's Teacher's Pet collection. I added in a mason jar pocket from Crate Paper Poolside and a tag from Target's Dollar Spot. The sparkly gold bow is from a recent Paper Issues Swag Bag. It's a great way to tell a teacher she shines. :)

I Love You So (Crate Paper Wonder)

Crate Paper Wonder strikes again, this time on a layout about Alexa and her cat. The photo is a selfie she took while giving Butterscotch a big smooch. Doesn't he look thrilled? I'm still trying to figure out how she held the camera and got them both in the shot without looking. LOL!

Card Share: You Are the Coolest (Simple Stories So Rad)

Simple Stories So Rad is perfect for masculine projects. I was able to crank out a bunch of male birthday cards in a matter of an hour. The die cuts, papers, and other embellishments are a dream to mix and match. This particular card is part of a product feature on the Paper Issues blog today so if you're looking for even more So Rad inspiration, be sure to check it out!

Card Share: You are Perfect (Elle's Studio Cienna)

Here I go again, making another baby card with Elle's Studio Cienna. This time I put the focus on the blues and yellows in the collection and mixed in a bit of gray. I'm thinking this would work equally well for a baby girl or baby boy.
