Card Share: Be Yourself

I put this card in my Etsy shop and within days someone bought it. Yay! I love the message it conveys. The colors really pop and the bit of gold complements them all.

Card Share: Baby Cards (Elle's Studio Cienna)

Hi everyone! Happy Tuesday! Today I'm sharing a set of baby cards I put together with the Elle's Studio Cienna collection I picked up from Paper Issues. This is such a pretty collection, and it's certainly not only meant for baby projects. In fact, I used it on this layout about Alexa's cat — male cat. :)

Would you like a look at each of the cards in more detail? First up we have "Happy Moments". I added buttons, glitter enamel dots, a polka dot transparency from Bella Blvd. and a mini polka dot bow to this one, but otherwise everything else is from the Cienna collection.

Next we have "Beautiful Baby", again using mostly paper and embellishments from the collection. I added a photo turn, brad, tiny enamel dots and a piece of my favorite mini flair from Feed Your Craft.

This one is called "Hello Beautiful Newborn". This time I added a silver polka dot transparency from Bella Blvd., a photo turn, brad, enamel dots and machine stitching.

This last card, "Oh So Precious", also needed just a few finishing touches — glitter enamel dots, twine, a wood veneer heart and a sentiment sticker. Oh, and don't worry, I noticed the heart was a bit crooked so I fixed that after taking the photo. :)

I hope you enjoyed seeing these cards and the different ways you can use the Cienna collectionIf you're looking for a fresh collection with a great mix of colors, be sure to take a look at this one. It's perfect for creating projects about those you love and adore. If you've used it, I'd love to see your projects! Be sure to link me up, OK?

Card Share: 100% Quality

Father's Day will be here in another month so I thought I'd make a card for my hubby. I stuck with a classic color scheme — black, white and red — mixing a vintage die cut with more contemporary pieces. I don't create many masculine projects, so hopefully I achieved the right look.

Card Share: The Little Things

Alexa kept eyeing this card and telling me how much she loved it so I listed it in my Etsy shop before it disappeared, never to be seen again. LOL!

I adhered a number of elements from older Paper Issues Swag Bags, atop the beautiful gold star vellum from Crate Paper's Confetti collection.

I think this card would work equally well as an engagement card, anniversary card or wedding card, maybe even a birthday card. What occasion would you send it for?

Card Share: Bloom

Once again, I used the April Swag Bag from Paper Issues and paired some of the 3x4 papers with the Simple Stories I Am collection.

The acrylic accents are from Color Cast Designs. I've been buying more and more of Jessica's products. They work perfectly on both cards and layouts and come in the prettiest of colors. If you stop by her shop, be sure to tell her I sent you. I don't get a kick back or anything. I just like to share when I find products I love.

Card Share: All Good Things

I used my trusty April Swag Bag to make this floral, spring-like card using papers from Fancy Pants Office Suite. Now that I've had a chance to try out 3x4 pieces of paper from the collection, I'm thinking of buying it all. I think it will be perfect for spring, garden and summer projects alike.

How about you? Have you used this collection? Taken a look at it? What do you think?

What the Devil Are You Doing?

I found this little gem on Alexa's phone. I have no idea what she and her friends are up to. Pair that with the headbands they're wearing, and that's how I came up with the title.

To create this page, I pulled everything that was red, black, gray and/or white out of my stash and got to work. I played around with product until I figured out what I wanted to use, which included a piece of a Paper Issues' business card ("Hello My Name Is"). There's new product on here and there's very old product on here. When it comes to a color scheme like this, I say it's classic and timeless.

I should probably keep everything out because one of Alexa's dance costumes is...you guessed it...red, black, white and silver and I know I'll be scrapping those photos soon.
