Open Hands (Crate Paper Wonder)

Last week I shared a card made with Crate Paper Wonder and mentioned I was working on a dance layout using the same collection. Well, here it is! This is a photo of Alexa in her lyrical costume. Her team danced to a song called Open Hands by Ingrid Michaelson. Funny thing is, her solo costume is almost exactly the same, but in a smoky plum color. I still have to scrap that photo but have no clue what collection to use with smoky plum. Any suggestions? :)

  1. Just stunning, Lisa, both the picture of Alexa and your layout! Have you seen Cedar Lane by Pink Paislee? It's a fall line that's coming out, but there are several general patterns used and it's got pops of plum in it. But I'm sure no matter what collection you use, it's going to be great! xo

  2. Absolutely gorgeous!!! LOVING that photo, the bow, the 13 on the jar and the colors!!! Hmmmmm plum ... I am thinking a couple of different Bo Bunny collections, but remembering their Fall collection last year had a lot of plum in it ... Autumn Song was the name of it .... http://www.ebay.com/itm/like/141042558782?ul_noapp=true&chn=ps&lpid=82

  5. I am in love with this - AWESOME and BEAUTIFUL and I am not just talking about the layout but about Alexa too!!! I love this - so much goodness on it and so much that adds to the beauty surrounding her!! My favorite thing is the cork # 13 - you are just amazing in the way you create things -- so many details but each one so necessary to the finished outcome and just always so amazingly done!!!

  6. You're so talented. You can scrapbook anything! I think dance portraits and school portraits would be really had to scrap. You make it look easy. This turned out great. Such a nice pic of A too. Yeah, a smoky plum costume, that's a tough one. Maybe look at Halloween collections!
