Card Share: Lightbulb Moments (Teacher Thank You Card)

With the school year coming to a close, I wanted to share this fun and cheerful thank you card I created for Alexa's teachers. It will be presented along with a monogram marquee light. Alexa will come up with a saying to write inside, along the lines of thanking them for lighting her way through 8th grade.

Because I had to make quite a few of these, I wanted to keep them clean and simple. I used a Lori Whitlock lightbulb cut file and placed it on top of a Bella Blvd. yellow polka dot transparency (love these things). The banner is an Echo Park "Merry Christmas" cut file. I ungrouped the elements, removed the holiday text, and added in the words "thank you".

  7. Fascinating card - for some reason I am drawn to lightbulb icons - I find them to be so delightful and so a part of a something I want to do which is Shine On - Shine in my own orbit!!! And this card just is perfect for a teacher who has helped to illuminate the path through a tricky year in school!!! Wonderfully done and I am totally digging on that transparency stuff too!!
