Sweet Creations 2014 (Simple Stories DIY Christmas)

Hi everyone. Don't be shocked, but today I'm sharing a pocket page! Sorry for the glare on the lower left pocket. The printed transparency inside made it difficult to photograph. As much as I would like to photograph everything outside of the pockets, and avoid the glare, I embellish both inside AND outside of the pockets so it's not possible. I'd cover up the elements on the outside of the pockets.

I kept this pretty streamlined, using the same "recipe" for each of the 4x6 pockets — a larger piece of patterned paper paired with a smaller piece either at the top or bottom. I then sewed the papers together before adding embellishments.

Silly me didn't leave myself a spot for journaling, so I printed it on a 3x4 card and added it to the back of the page, behind one of the photos.

I can now officially say I'm caught up with holiday photos from 2014. How are you doing with yours?
