Crafty Critter 2013 (Simple Stories Cozy Christmas)

Yesterday I shared a Simple Stories Cozy Christmas layout about how much Alexa's cat loves hanging out under our tree. Today I'm showing you another Cozy Christmas page, about Alexa's love of crafting. I wonder where she got that from? :)

This adorable reindeer is actually an upcycled toilet paper tube. I got the idea from my friend Izzy's blog. Once Alexa saw it, she immediately got to work, putting it on our tree shortly after she was done. Well, once the glue dried. :)

To read more about this page and to see detail shots, please head over to the Simple Stories blog.

  9. I just have to say that I love the way you make pockets for your journaling! Such a cool idea and sometimes it takes me some looking to find it - It is so cool!! Love that your daughter is crafty like you and that you found the perfect way to highlight her craft and make an awesomely cool looking layout to go with it!! You are such a loving mom and I admire your dedication to Alexa. By the way, would she totally freak out if some stranger (me) sent her a card? I keep feeling like I should but then wonder if she would like it?!? She is awesomely talented at dance and so lucky to have such supportive parents!! Also, I wanted to say that you must have the most enamel dots of anyone I know - they show up on every project - That is so awesome - I hardly use mine because then they will be gone!! :)

  10. Cute! What a fun thing to document. I have a box of creations made out of similar supplies, but photographing them and scrapping them would be a better way of remembering who actually made what!
