Card Share: Happy Birthday 2 U (Echo Park Fine and Dandy)

Hi everyone! I recently shared a layout featuring Echo Park's fun and colorful Fine and Dandy collection. Today I'm sharing a card made from the same collection. It's actually one of a trio based on a simple sketch I made. I'll be sharing the other cards, and the sketch, tomorrow and Thursday.

I used one of my favorite techniques on here — repeated text — to dress up what was an otherwise plain tag (an Echo Park Silhouette cut file).

The "Happy Birthday" banner is adhered over the cake with foam circles to add dimension. The remainder of the card uses element and sentiment stickers from the collection and a bit of ribbon finishes it off.

I'll see you tomorrow with a look at a card that would be perfect to send to a child away at camp.
