A friend's son recently got his driver's license so I made a card to congratulate him. I went with this Echo Park cut file because his mom drives a red VW bug. Couldn't be more perfect, right?
I started with the basic cut file, created an offset, then mirrored the image above the original to create the white card base. After cutting the car parts, I adhered them to the card base, using foam circles to give the hood dimension.
I used enamel dots for the headlights, embellished the hood with a wood veneer topped with another enamel dot, and finished it off with rub on sentiment inside the windshield.
Have a great weekend! I'll be back next week with some new posts.

What a fabulous card, Lisa! I will have to remember this cut file for when my daughter gets her license next year. She has a thing for VW bugs!
