Card Share: 57 (Echo Park That's My Boy)

Tom celebrated his birthday (can you guess which one?) a few weeks ago. I put together this quick card for him using Echo Park's That's My Boy collection.

Masculine projects are not my strong point, but it's a nice break from making "girly" projects.

Do you have a hard time with masculine or feminine projects? Do you think it's related to the type of projects you do most of the time (which for me is feminine)? I do. I think if I scrapped boy stuff more often, it wouldn't seem so hard.

  2. I loveeeee this!! And Happy Birthday to Tom! :) I used to make only boy pages (when Adam was younger) ... but I still had a hard time making masculine cards even then .. maybe it's because men aren't supposed to "like" cards?? That this is more of a girl/sentimental thing??

  4. What a sweet card, Lisa! I agree, I'd have a harder time making use of boy supplies since I never work with them. :)

  5. Guy cards are so difficult. This one is great. Wonderful idea for using the number stickers or die cuts.

  7. "This Is Awesome." This is a great boys card. You do it very well. I really don't have a problem with guys layouts but I get more practice with girls as I have 5 granddaughters.

  14. Really cute card, Lisa! And you did a great job staging it. Very masculine! :)
But I know what you mean. I think girly tends to be easier for me, too.

  15. You did a mighty fine job with this masculine card. Love how you staged it. I am chuckling that you even had that airplane around your house! Is it Tom's? A big happy 57th to him!
