Hi everyone! Are your kids obsessed with the Rainbow Loom? Alexa sure is! She received it as a gift back in October and hasn't put it down since. She's gone through thousands of bands and made all sorts of bracelet patterns and charms. Her latest creations include Elmo, Cookie Monster, a lollipop, rabbit, carrot and bunny.
I don't scrapbook about current trends much, but I thought this one deserved documenting. Years from now Alexa can look back at this page and remember how much she loved this craft. Who knows. She may still even have the thing and be able to show her kids how to use it. :)
I used Echo Park's new Hippity Hoppity collection. It's primarily a spring and Easter collection, but it worked so well with the rainbow of colors in the photos.

So awesome that you scrapped this hobby of hers!! I loveeeeeeeee this!! LOVING all the bright, happy colors!!!!!
ReplyDeleteHow fun! Love the colors you used..so bright & cheery!

ReplyDeleteSuch a bright and cheerful layout, and love how you colored the letters, Lisa! A trend this big definitely needs to be recorded for her to look back on! :)
ReplyDeleteIt looks like fun although I have no idea what the loom is. However, you totally rocked the page as always.I love that the colors pop off the white!
ReplyDeleteThat's a pretty bracelet. I think this is a perfect topic for a page! You're right, it will be a fun memory for her. She is so lucky to have these scrapbooks you can both share.

ReplyDeleteWhat a fun page. I always wondered what those Ranibow Looms were...kids grow up and you get out of what's the hottest trend.. I love the mix of the bright colors and the soft pastel colors in the title. So bright and cheery!

ReplyDeleteMy dd is into this too. She just got hers but she's already made some pretty cool things.
I love this! I was talking with one of the Moms in the parent pick up line at school and she was telling me about those bracelets as her daughter is obsessed with them now. I'm clueless since I have a boy. :) I love how you documented it, in such a fun layout.
ReplyDeleteLove this! Ah yes, we have little bands everywhere around her as well! Love all the colorful elements. Especially the title work!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun thing to scrapbook! We don't have these yet. Ellie really wants them, but she got one big gift for Christmas (AG doll), so I'm thinking she might have to wait til her birthday. She has some sweet friends at school who have been making them for her though.
