Altered Project: Tic Tac Toe Game (Little Yellow Bicycle Vintage Summer)

Last week I shared a mini Polaroid album, the first of three projects, I did as guest designer for Gina's Designs. This week I'm sharing a unique project made from a small shadowbox. This little cutie is 8" square. When I first saw it, the idea of creating a tic tac toe game popped into my head. Want to see how it turned out?

The bottom of the box, and each of the game pieces, are covered with patterned paper from Little Yellow Bicycle's new Vintage Summer collection.

Here's a look at one of the round game pieces (I have to give my hubby a shout out for painting and cutting them all). All of the round pieces are topped with Bella Blvd. flags.

Here's a look at one of the squares. These are topped with stacked buttons and word stickers from Bella Blvd.

Patterned paper from Bo Bunny finishes off the sides of the box.

This project is also up on the Gina's Designs blog today along with a giveaway. Be sure to check it out!

Gina is also letting me do a giveaway on my blog too. How would you like a chance to win a package of miniature chipboard clipboards (4 backer boards, 4 clips and 4 clip cover pieces). All you have to do is leave a comment on this post. Open to US, Canada and Mexico residents only (sorry to my other international readers). I'll be choosing a winner on Wednesday, July 3rd. Good luck!
