All Boy (Little Yellow Bicycle Fern and Forest Boy)

Today I'm sharing a page I made for my Dad's memorial album. This is my Dad as a baby. I can't get over how adorable he was! We tend to forget (at least I do) that our parents were babies and kids once too. They didn't just come into this world as adults, ready to parent us. LOL!

I used Little Yellow Bicycle's Fern and Forest Boy collection for this page, adding in some embellishments from the Naturals collection (burlap, canvas and wood) to give the page some texture. Don't be shocked by this next comment, but I stamped on the background paper. It's subtle, but it's there.

Do you have photos of your parents in their younger days? Have you scrapped them?

  4. It's a fantastic page!!! The first thing that caught my eye was the frame around his face. That really drew me in. I just got in some of LYB Fern and Forest in the purple colors. So pretty.
