Pinterest Pinspiration

At first glance, the title of this post looks like it says "perspiration", doesn't it? Just had to get that out and tell you that it's not. :) Today's post is all about Pinterest and the ideas we collect there, otherwise known as "pinspiration" to me.

I'll be the first to admit that my Pinterest boards are overflowing with ideas. The site is filled with never-ending inspiration and refreshing ideas, but I know I'll never get to all I've pinned. It's impossible to attempt them all, but I've picked a couple of pins from my Scrapbooking Ideas board that I am determined to try over the next month. Are you with me?

1. Use chipboard shapes for embossing (from Scrapbook and Cards Today magazine).

2. Use paper scraps to make adorable birds. These would be a perfect addition to my spring home decor or even for an Easter display.

3. How about some writing prompts? Love these from Write. Click. Scrapbook

4. Let's not forget about sketches. So helpful when your mojo has disappeared. This one, by Susan Stringfellow for Basic Grey, inspires me.

5. Love this idea for making tags from old books. I have my Dad's Boy Scout Handbook and my Mom's much loved and used copy of Bartlett's Familiar Quotations that would be perfect for this.

So what do you say? Are you up for a challenge? Join me over the next few weeks and give some of those pins you've been eyeing a try. Let me know if you join in. :)

  6. I also pin more inspiration than I will ever actually use, but I do love to look over my boards when I need some visual inspiration. And there are others that I pin specifically to inspire a project or layout. Love this challenge though - sometimes you have to push yourself to actually get it done! :)
