Festive and Frosted

I love to try new recipes, whether it be for a meal, side dish or dessert. I especially love to add a new baked good (or two) into my "standard" holiday menu. This year Alexa and I whipped up these yummy frosted gingerbread cookies. They have ground ginger and candied ginger in them (and they called for yogurt which made us believe they were healthy, LOL!)

Just like a recipe, this page is a mix of a number of different "ingredients" (manufacturers). The papers are mostly Echo Park (with a wee bit of October Afternoon thrown in) and the embellishments are a complete mish mosh of new and old, just bits and pieces I had in my embellishment box.

Do you try new recipes during the holidays or do you stick with the tried-and-true?

  14. Hey, I popped over to see your new signature......You must have used invisible ink!

Super cute page. The classic holiday colors work so well with your cookies and I adore your fun design. The corrugated leaves and doily halves look great.
