Hi everyone! Now that Thanksgiving is over, I thought it would be fun to follow up on a few of Gallop's (our Turkey on the Shelf) antics and adventures in the days leading up to Thanksgiving (and his departure).
Gallop meets up with members of his family to catch up on happenings in the poultry world. Unfortunately his styrofoam cousin (on the left) left home in a bit of a hurry and forgot to put his beak on so he couldn't relay too much news.
Is Gallop considering extending his stay through Hanukkah? He seems to have the ear of Mr. Moose Menorah. If nothing else, he’s seeing the world from a different vantage point.
With just a week to go before Thanksgiving Day, Gallop encourages us to eat more chicken.
Uh-oh. Gallop found Alexa's Halloween candy and overindulged...just a bit.
To make up for eating most of the chocolate in Alexa's Halloween stash, Gallop decided to try his hand at scrapbooking Alexa's school picture. He did a pretty good job, especially given that he picked through the trash to get at some of my scraps. :)
Gallop left the day before Thanksgiving, leaving behind a claw-written note telling Alexa how much fun he had with her. He mentioned a possible visit next year. We'll have to see...
