Turkey on the Shelf: Gallop's Continuing Adventures

About a week ago, I introduced you to Gallop, our November Turkey on the Shelf visitor. I'm doing this as a variation on Elf on the Shelf, in the days leading up to Thanksgiving.

When we last left Gallop, he was merrily making a snow angel in a pile of rice. What happened to him the next day was not very pretty.

Let's take a look, shall we?

Gallop found himself in a bit of a bind. He was tied to the knife block by the Littlest Pet Shop cats (Please notice what good taste they have in using twine to tie him on there, LOL!) Cats are Alexa's very favorite animal and they are not taking kindly to having a fowl in the house. :) Are you wondering if this was the end of Gallop? Scroll down to see what happened next...

I'm thinking he may have been a bit shaken up by yesterday's capture. He's now counting down the days until his departure.

They say life is short, eat dessert first, but Gallop stole a piece of licorice from a brand new container intended as a surprise for Alexa. It's her favorite licorice. Will she share with him or will she put Gallop out to pasture? I'm hoping I brought her up right and she'll share, but you just never know. :)

Hopefully Gallop wasn't sent away and I'll have more escapades to share with you next week. :)

Don't forget to check out last Thursday's post with guest author Christina Freeburn. There's still time to leave a comment for a chance to win a copy of her new scrapbooking mystery.
