Giveaway: Little Yellow Bicycle Acorn Hollow Collection

Although I find myself being thankful on a regular basis, with Thanksgiving just days away, I think about it even more. Right now I am incredibly thankful for the opportunities that came my way this year and for the sweet and encouraging friends I've made through my blog. As my way of saying thank YOU, I am having a little giveaway. One lucky reader will receive a collection of Little Yellow Bicycle's Acorn Hollow Collection that includes 12x12 papers and two packages of coordinating embellishments. This will give you plenty for scrapping your fall and Thanksgiving photos. All you have to do is tell me what you are thankful for this year (or you could even tell me what your favorite Thanksgiving dish is). :) I will draw a random winner on Sunday, 11/25 and announce the winner on my blog on Monday, 11/26.

  20. I am thankful that I get to spend the holiday this year with my family. I injured myself last month so I am at home until sometime in December. I work retail so usually I am at work on Thanksgiving day. My favorite dish is my sweet ptoato casserole which is requeted by my friends to bring.

My favorite thanksgiving dish is the sweet potato casserole I make (seriously, I don't even like sweet potatoes, but this stuff is like candy - LOADED with sugar and butter and vanilla and topped with pecans - YUM!). 32. I am thankful for my husband who was my rock after surgery. I couldn't have done it sithout him!

My favourite Thanksgicing diash is a vegtable side dish.
Wash brusselsprouts, clean up the loose leaves and recut bottom edge, thrown in a roasting pan. Peel and wash carrots and slice in half in length. Thrown in with brussell sprouts. Drizzle with olive oil and add a couple of tablespoons of brown sugar. Toss till coated. Bake at 400 till done. Depending on how many veg you have cut up could take anywhere from 45 -60 minutes. I do tons (a turkey shallow roasting pan full and it takes an hour...but sometimes I have to turn the heat down to 350 for the last 10 minutes as i have timed it to match the meat and need to keep it hot but not overdone.
Veg will be caramelized...it is a Ina Garten Barefoot Countessa recipe...You could google it for smaller amount cooking times.
