Rolls (Dear Lizzy Neapolitan)

In order to find this photo, I had to revisit my wedding albums and boy was that a blast from the past! As I went through the pages, I couldn't help but notice how many loved ones have passed in the 23 years since I got married. That's an uplifting observation, right? LOL! Anyway, I digress...

One of the items on my Dad's bucket list (although I don't know if it was referred to as such in 1989) was to drive me to my wedding in a Rolls Royce. He found a limo company willing to let him drive the Rolls while the limo driver followed in my Dad's car. He was so happy to be behind the wheel, escorting me and my three sisters to the hotel where I got married. I'm glad I have this special memory of my Dad's proud papa moment. :)

  1. Oh, I love everything about this! I especially love the color scheme. I would not have thought to use this for a wedding page but Dear Lizzy is so soft and dreamy that it works perfectly here. LOVE that pic. Dad's fun dream indeed! I love that he got to do the driving too. This is such a wonderful memory. You and Tom look great.

  8. What a story! So glad he found someone to "work with him" on his request ;0P I wanted to help bake my wedding cake - stupid rules! LOL! But kinda glad I didn't, these guys were professional - probably ruin their kitchen! HA! Lovely page as always, Lisa :)

  12. Such a sweet dad! Instead of the limo driver, your father was the one who drove you to your wedding. Not all fathers do that, and I must say that you’re lucky to have a father like him. I assume the mood inside the limo that time was a happy and sweet one. :) What a nice way to bid farewell to your family.
