It's A Wild World (Little Yellow Bicycle Paradise)

We recently got a behind-the-scenes tour of the zoo. The zoo keeper leading our tour covered everything from what the animals eat (from veggies to dead rats, ick!), to showing us where the animals are kept when they are not in their habitats, and even told us what you can learn from an animals poop (who knew? LOL!).

I brought my camera, with the intention of taking photos while Alexa merrily oohed and aahed at everything she was seeing, but she had other ideas. She took my camera from me and proceeded to take more than 100 photos! I worked on paring them down, deleting blurry shots, multiple shots, etc. and put the best ones on this layout. Journaling is in the kraft envelope.

  2. digital has it moments and handing off the camera to my kids somehow brought out their best behaviour. Since she took the photos - have her do a layout. I had Shane do that and he had a great time. He wouldn't write the journaling but dictated it. Baby steps. lol!

  4. Great layout! Love the colors and I do the exact same thing with my photos. When I came back from Disney, I had taken 2500 pics...yeah...I will basically be scrapping them for the rest of my life!

  7. What a wonderful layout! I love the colors you used and the clever way you "hid" your journaling in the kraft envelope.
