Welcome to Diana Fisher's Blog Anniversary Hop

Diana Fisher is celebrating her three-year blog (Design by Diana) anniversary by giving the anniversary gifts to YOU — the readers! Hop on through the Blog Hop (participants listed below) to find prizes and inspiration along the way.

Plus, there's a chance to play along with us! Use the sketch Diana made (see below), link your entry back at her blog, and you could win a $30 shop credit to Scrapbook Circle.

You have until April 30th to complete the hop and link up your sketch challenge entry to be eligible for the hop prizes!

Leave a comment here on this post and I will be choosing a random winner (on May 1st) to receive a package of Dear Lizzy Neapolitan Ephemera Flowers (from one of my favorite collections this year).

Here is the sketch Diana designed for us to use:

Here is my page:

As you can see, I stayed pretty true to the sketch although I didn't necessarily use the elements on the sketch. I used a doily in place of the journaling spot, opting to put my journaling on a tag behind the photo. I interpreted the triangles as a pleated banner border below the photo and I used only one photo, adding in an embellishment cluster instead of two more photos.

Here's a closer look at the doily. Stitched brown ribbon is threaded through the outer edge and I added pink pearls to the flower centers.

Here's the embellishment cluster in more detail:

A close-up of the title with some simple stitching added for interest.

Thanks for stopping by! Now it's time to move on and visit the next blog on the list:
