Let Me Go (Echo Park Note to Self)

I've fought this page for a long time now (the topic of it, not the creation) because the passage (on the tag) brings me to tears each and every time I read it. It is part of what was read at the unveiling of my Dad's grave stone. I'll let the words speak for themselves. The Kaddish/Mourner's Kaddish is a Jewish prayer said for people who have passed away.

Journaling reads:

...You can love me most by letting hands touch
hands and souls touch souls.
You can love me most by sharing your
happy occasions and multiplying the
goodness you do.
You can love me most by letting me live in
your eyes, not in your mind.
And when you say Kaddish for me, remem-
ber what our tradition teaches: Love doesn't
die. People do. So when all that's left of me
is love, give me away.
