Inde-'Pendant' (Jillibean Soup Sweet and Sour Soup)

We made our first visit to the Corning Museum of Glass two weeks ago. Alexa had a chance to make a glass pendant which was the only "hands on" glass making project they had. They had other projects but they were not as hands on as this was (the instructors did most of the "cool" work). She got quite the lesson in how to make the pendant and the different techniques that go into it. She was hesitant at first to work with an open flame (and a super hot one at that!) but once she donned all of the protective gear (safety goggles, Kevlar sleeves, and an apron) she was good to go. :)

Based on a sketch by Leah Farquharson.

  5. Such a cute layout!! I love all the layering. Everytime I try layering, it just looks cluttered. I need to work on that.
